The repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years are one of the underlying causes of crow's feet and frowlines between the brows. Our specialist will target these muscles by injecting BOTOX® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. By working beneath the skin's surface, you will notice a visble smoothing of these lines, which is proven to last up to 4 months!
Juvedern XC® is an injectable gel that contains a modified version of hydaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occuring sugar found in the human body. Young and healthy skin contains an abundance of HA, but these levels of HA can be reduced as we age and are exposed to enviornmental factors, such as sunlight. The depletion of HA over time causes our skin to lose volume and structure, thus creating unwanted folds and wrinkles around the nose and mouth.
Juvederm XC is a safe and minimally invasive way to replace the HA that your skin has lost. Juvederm XC restores volume, resulting in a smoother appearence.

Photos taken at maximum frown and/or full smile before and after treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic at day 7. In two clinical studies for moderate to sever crow's feet, 26. 1% and 20.3% of people had >/= 2-grade improvement at day 30. In one of these studies, 67.9% of people had mild or no crow's feet a day 30 after treatment. In clinical studies for moderate to severe frown lines, physicians assessed 80% of people had significant improvement at day 30.

Safety Information: The safety of Juvederm XC injectable gen for use during pregnancy, in women who are breastfeeding, or in patients with very think skin in the cheek area has not been studied. The safety for use in patients under 18 years has not been studied. The safety and effectiveness for treatment in areas other than facial wrinkles and fold (such as lips) have not been established. THe safety for use in patients with a history of excessove scaring and pigmentation disorders has not been studied and may result in additional scars or changes in pigmentation. Tell your doctor if you are on therapy used to decrease the body's immune response (immunosuppressive therapy). Use may result in increase risk of infection. Tell your doctor if you are using mediccations that can prolong bleeding, such as asprin, ibuprofen, or other blod thinners. As with any injection, this may result in increased brusing or bleeing at the injection site. If laswer treatment, chemical peel, or any other procedure based on active dermal response is considered after treatment, of if the product is administered before the skin has healed completely, there is a possible risk of inflammatory reaction at the treatment site. As with all skin injection procedure there is a risk of infection.
